Designed by Luke Donald - These Mizuno MP-64 Irons were originally called the MP 'Luke' irons because they were designed, from scratch, with help from England's very own former World No.1 Luke Donald.
Since missing the cut at the US Open in June, Luke Donald has recorded two top-tens in his last three events and he¡¯s now ready to strike while the iron is hot. Writing on his Twitter feed, Donald said: ¡°Been testing Mizuno¡¯s newest irons, the MP64s, and I like them so much am putting them in the bag this week.¡±
Mizuno have created a beautiful set of irons that can be worked like a blade but have some added forgiveness with the MP-64 Irons. You can get the ball airborne, easier to work the ball with MP-64 than the ping i20 irons for sale. They grip better and feels softer without altering the core. Especially in the area of turf interaction and the grinds around the heel and back of the sole are very subtle and give the club some smooth lines.
A quest for more feedback led the MP-64 to a thicker, bulging muscle pad behind a wider portion of the clubface. ¡°Maximising feel became the absolute priority - with forgiveness added afterwards. With other more forgiving ¡®player¡¯ irons in our line like the JPX825 Pro and mizuno mp 59 irons uk, we were free to really chase impact sensations.¡±
Mizuno claims that with the shallowest cavity, the MP-64 - designed for the professional player - offers more forgiveness than a traditional blade with Mizuno¡¯s R&D team focussed on producing soft, yet solid feel. Modified U-Grooves produce maximum spin and control from all lies whilst fully complying to all rules and regulations. The cheapest golf clubs -MP-64 will be ideal for low single figures golfers who want more control than the JPX825 Pro, even though there is not much in it.
