Mizuno JPX-800 Irons are very forgiving To be the longest, most forgiving iron in the company's history. The Mizuno JPX-800 Irons, in fact, gained 3 mph ball speed and 7 yards total distance in head-to-head tests with MX-200 irons. Mizuno's "Hot Metal" construction is a strengthening process that leads to an extra-thin clubface and triggers hotter ball speed. A multitiered pocket cavity expands the sweet spot and lowers the center of gravity for improved forgiveness. It¡¯s only been 9 holes so far, but an 8 iron punched under and bent around a tree, a 4 iron about 210 yards out of the thick stuff (20 yds longer than I ever hit a 4), landing on a dime. Two GW shots from 105-110 that stuck the green (one spun back about 10 yards to the pin but I still can¡¯t believe I hit that shot, so not telling you about that one¡ oh well, guess that cat is out of the bag). Then the shot of the day¡ aimed a 7 iron 100 yards at a tree across the fairway at the beginning of a hard dogleg right, and bent it about 90 degrees for another 70 years and landed just left of the green¡. Almost fell over when that shot did exactly what I intended it to do (except missed the green). ____________________________________________ taylormade burner superfast 2.0 driverping g15 ironstitleist AP2 710 forged Ironstaylormade r9 supertri driver
